within the intracranial cavity fall under the heading "glioma," a heterogeneous collection of neoplasms
unified by the fact that they arise from glial tissues that includes all, immature and mature neuroectodermal
tumors.
The word 'Glioma', is
derived from 'Glue', a greek word for a binding
substance.
